The Battle Is The Lords 2

That truth gave me great joy when I first discovered it. David had just slain the giant with a sling and a stone. Have you ever been in a more difficult situation? Have you ever been in a situation when it appeared that there was no way you could be victorious and yet you were? Have you ever been in a situation where God fought for you? Have you discovered over and over that the battle is the Lord*s? I have often wondered if He was on my side. More important to be sure that I am on His side. The only thing we have to fear is not being on His side.

2 Chronicles 16:9a: For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. . . .

Isaiah 43:2: When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Psalms 46:1: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

1 John 5:4: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Matthew 28:18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 1 John 4:4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Philippians 2:12: Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
